  Went to this cafe yesterday morning with a group of 4 adults plus toddler. Hoping to have a bit of small town friendliness & hospitality. The manager seemed nice enough and was interacting with my 1yo, however when we suggested pushing two tables together, seemed against it and squished 4 of us plus bulky highchair at the small table. Once all the drinks had arrived, it was clear that we wernt going to fit all the food plates on the table as well, so proceeded to push the table next to us together (note there were no other customers inside, everyone else was seated outside). I gestured to the young brunette waitress what we were doing who just looked at us, and didn't offer to help, despite us having lots of hot drinks, plus a toddler, plus myself with a wrist injury & big bandage over my wrist. Instead they seemed quiet put out by what we were doing. We also had to move the table to the side a bit as the sun was directly in our eyes, and there were no sun blinds to pull down at all.
  My husband & I asked if we could have our eggs on Turkish bread (as there was Turkish bread mentioned in other menu items). The young brunette girl just said a flat out no. Didnt enquire, or ask her manager, just no. Given there were very few other customers at the time, I'm sure toasting some Turkish instead of sourdough was in the realms of possibly, just couldn't be bothered obviously.
  Then when the food came out, I got poached eggs, when I had in fact ordered scrambled. The unhelpful waitress instead of apologising or offering to fix the mistake, just said "ohhh". I said it's fine, I'll just have the poached. Again, no response or apology from her. The food and coffee was ok, nothing spectacular. Just really lacked some friendly hospitality, really would have been nice if they had smiled perhaps at least. Oh well, wont go back there next time we're in the area!
